How should I look after it?

If the plate is dirty or hair styling products have gotten on it, soak a soft cloth in some diluted mild detergent (diluted with water to 3 to 5%), wring it out well, and wipe off the dirt with it.

Can I use the device in other countries?

The device can be used with AC 100-240V outlets, but that does not necessarily mean it can be used in all countries and regions. Voltages and plug shapes may vary from region to region, even within the same country.
When traveling abroad, please consult with your hotel(s) and/or travel agent beforehand.
In the event of product failure or damage resulting from use outside of the region or country of purchase, repairs will not be free of charge – even during the warranty period.

Does it turn off automatically?

The power will turn off automatically after it's been on for about 60 minutes.

The device has a burning smell.
A.
There may be some hair styling products or dust on the iron plates. Make sure to turn the power off and let the product cool down completely before cleaning it. If the smell persists, turn off the power, unplug the power supply, and consult the store where you purchased the item or the MTG Customer Service Center for inspection and repair.

Can I use the device after getting my hair permed, bleached or colored?

Your hair will be damaged after you get it permed，bleached or colored. Refrain from using the device for 3-4 days to avoid further damage.

Can I use the iron after applying hair styling products?
A.
You can use it with hair styling products that can be used with a hair iron.
Don't use any hair styling products that can't be used with a hair iron. Doing so may damage your hair.
Don't leave any hair styling products on the product. Please check the instruction manual to find out how to take care of it.

Can I use it on wet hair?
A.
Please use it on dry hair.
However, even if you do use it on wet hair, the Carbon Layer Plates will reduce the transmission of heat, so your hair will suffer less damage.

Can I use the product on artificial hair extensions/wigs?
