(1) Take a section of your hair that is about 5cm in width. If the section is any thicker, it may be difficult to straighten.
(2) Place the section of hair between the iron plates.
(3) Slide the iron down to the tips of the hair in a slow, steady motion.
(4) Repeat steps 1-3 on the rest of your hair, working from the bottom layer of each section to the top.
(5) Finish and set your style with hairstyling products such as such as hair cream or hair wax. Straightening will vary from person to person depending on the natural curl and texture of hair.
These directions are for curling your hair inward. To curl your hair outward, rotate the hair straightener outward in step 3.
(1) Take a section of your hair about 3cm in width.
(2) Slightly tilt the iron in the direction you want to curl your hair and place the section you want to curl between the iron plates.
(3) Rotate the iron inward by a half to a full turn.
(4) Repeat steps 1-3 on the rest of your hair, working from the bottom layer of each section to the top.
(5) Finish and set your style with hairstyling products such as hairspray or hair wax.
