Electrode head:
Wipe the gel off with a soft cloth after every use.
When doing so, be careful that gel doesn't get in the intake and exhaust vents.
Don't wash the electrode head with water.
Main unit's surface, etc.:
If the main unit's surface is just a little dirty, wipe it off with a soft, dry cloth as and when.
If it's very dirty, clean it by following the steps below.
